Once connected, Codex can:
- Add and update contacts and companies, and import up to 100 prospects at a time.
- Create deals on your pipelines and move them between stages, with a reason when one is lost.
- Log calls, meetings, emails, messages and notes after they happen.
- Set, reschedule and complete follow-ups, and see what is due or overdue.
- Search contacts, companies and deals, and read the CRM briefing, a pre-call deal brief or a pipeline summary.
- Draft a follow-up from your CRM history, then log it once you send it with the tools you already use.
The LotsCRM dashboard does the whole job too: contacts, companies, the pipeline, follow-ups in your Today view and team access. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.
You need
- Codex CLI, the Codex app or the IDE extension
- A LotsCRM account. You can create one during sign-in.

Codex and LotsCRM: questions
How do I connect Codex to LotsCRM?
Follow the Codex setup above to add https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my LotsCRM workspaces”.
Does LotsCRM work in the Codex app and the IDE extension?
Yes. Add it under Settings, then MCP servers: select Add server, choose Streamable HTTP, paste https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp, save and select Authenticate.
Do I need an API key to use LotsCRM with Codex?
No. Codex signs in to LotsCRM in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.
What does LotsCRM cost?
Current plans and prices are on https://lotscrm.com/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.
Does LotsCRM send emails or messages?
LotsCRM is the record of your sales work. Your agent drafts and sends messages with the tools you already use, then logs each one in LotsCRM, so every conversation sits on the right contact and deal. Follow-ups you schedule appear in your Today view.
What can my agent do in my workspace?
Your agent acts as you, so it can do exactly what your workspace role allows. Owners can do everything and viewers can only read.
Can my agent delete CRM records?
Your agent archives contacts, companies and deals. Archiving is recoverable and keeps the history, and there is no hard delete through MCP.
Can one agent work across several clients?
Yes. Each workspace is a separate sales book, one per business or client. Your agent lists your workspaces, picks the one you mean and keeps its records apart from the others.
