LotsCRM Pricing Explained: Pay per Business, Not per Seat

LotsCRM costs $5 per workspace a month on pay as you go, or $12 a month for a plan with 3 workspaces, $29 for 10 and $79 for 30. A workspace is one business or one client's sales book, and everything inside it is unlimited: contacts, companies, deals, pipelines and teammates. New accounts get 5,000 free credits, valid 90 days, no card, which covers one workspace for about a month.

I priced LotsCRM by the business, not by the person, because the people who use it most (founders, consultants, small agencies) add clients faster than they add staff. Every number below comes from the live LotsCRM catalogue, checked on 14 October 2026.

Pro$29 a month10$2.90 a month$290 a year
Business$79 a month30$2.63 a month$790 a year

Every row gets the same product: unlimited contacts, companies and deals, unlimited pipelines and team members, the Today view, follow-ups and activity history, CSV import and export, and the MCP server and REST API for any AI agent. Plans add workspace capacity, and Pro and Business also include LotsNotes Pro. No CRM feature is locked to a higher tier.

What a workspace is

A workspace is an isolated sales book for one business or one client. It has its own contacts, companies, pipelines, deals, activity history and members, and nothing leaks between workspaces. That's the unit you pay for.

How to count yours:

  • A founder with one product: 1 workspace.
  • A founder with two side businesses: 2 workspaces, one per business, so the pipelines and contacts stay apart.
  • An agency or consultant: one workspace per client. Invite the client's staff as viewers so they can see their own pipeline without editing it. That's the setup on the LotsCRM for agencies page.

Your agent knows the boundary too. It starts each session with list_workspaces, works in the one you name, and keeps each workspace's records to itself.

Three ways to pay: plans, pay as you go, credits

Pay as you go: $5 per workspace a month

No plan, no subscription. Each active workspace costs 5,000 credits a month ($5), charged a little each day from your credit balance. A day costs the monthly rate divided by the days in that month, so in a 31-day month one workspace costs about 161 credits a day. This is the right fit for one or two workspaces.

Plans: a block of workspaces

PlanMonthlyYearly (10 monthly payments)WorkspacesEach extra workspace
Starter$12$1203$4.00 a month (4,000 credits)
Pro$29$29010$2.90 a month (2,900 credits)
Business$79$79030$2.63 a month (2,633 credits)

Workspaces past the plan's block are paid from credits at that plan's own rate, so you can go past 3, 10 or 30 without changing plan. Yearly billing is ten monthly payments for twelve months, two months free: Starter works out to $10 a month, Pro about $24.17 and Business about $65.83. Plans grant workspace capacity, not credits.

Pro and Business also include LotsNotes Pro while the plan is active: unlimited workspaces, folders and team members for the notes your agents read, which is $99 on its own. Starter and pay as you go don't include it.

Credits: what pays for everything outside a plan

  • $1 buys 1,000 credits, and the minimum top-up is $10.
  • Credits you buy never expire, and they work across Lots products, so the same balance can pay for LotsSocial or LotsBlog too.
  • Funding is automatic. A workspace a plan doesn't cover is paid from credits that day, with no switch to turn on.
  • Signup credits expire after their 90 days; bought credits don't.

Unlimited contacts, deals and teammates

The things that make other CRMs expensive as you grow are not counted here:

  • Contacts, companies and deals: unlimited. Import a trade-show list of 500 leads or 5,000, the price is the same.
  • Pipelines: unlimited, with your own stages.
  • Team members: unlimited and free. Each teammate signs in with a free Lots account and gets a role: owner, admin, manager, member or viewer.
  • Client viewers: free too. An agency can give a client read-only access to their own workspace without paying a seat.

Your bill moves with one number: how many businesses or clients you run.

Free credits to start

Eligible new users get 5,000 free credits, valid 90 days, with no card. That covers one workspace on pay as you go for about a month, so you can connect your agent, import real contacts and run your pipeline for weeks before you pay anything. When you're ready, top up credits or pick a plan.

What it costs: three worked examples

Solo founder, one business

You sell one product and do your own sales. That's 1 workspace: $5 a month on pay as you go. Your free credits cover the first month. If you start a second business, it's $10 a month for both. At 3 businesses, Starter at $12 is lower than $15 on pay as you go.

Agency with eight clients

One workspace per client is 8 workspaces:

  • Pay as you go: 8 × $5 = $40 a month.
  • Starter: $12 + 5 extra × $4 = $32 a month.
  • Pro: $29 a month, with room for 2 more clients.

Your five account managers and every client contact you invite as a viewer cost nothing extra. On Pro yearly ($290), that's about $24.17 a month for the whole agency.

Small team, one business, five people

Five people working one sales book is still 1 workspace: $5 a month on pay as you go, or Starter at $12 if you want room for two more businesses later. Adding a sixth or tenth person changes nothing.

Here is what five people cost on the entry plans of three CRMs that price per seat, from their own pricing pages, checked on 14 October 2026 (annual billing):

CRMEntry paid planPer seat a monthFive people a month
LotsCRMPay as you goNot per seat ($5 per workspace)$5
PipedriveLite$14$70
folkStandard$24$120
AttioPlus$35$175

Some of those plans include things LotsCRM doesn't do, such as email and calendar sync on folk and Attio, so compare the job you need done, not just the number. Attio also has a Free plan for up to 3 seats. If your job is "keep every lead, deal and follow-up current, from the AI agent I already use", the per-workspace model is where the difference shows. For the full side-by-side, see HubSpot alternatives for small teams and the LotsCRM compare page.

Which option for how many workspaces

Monthly cost of each option, lowest in bold:

WorkspacesPay as you goStarterProBusiness
1$5$12$29$79
2$10$12$29$79
3$15$12$29$79
5$25$20 ($12 + 2 × $4)$29$79
8$40$32 ($12 + 5 × $4)$29$79
15$75$60 ($12 + 12 × $4)$43.50 ($29 + 5 × $2.90)$79
30$150$120 ($12 + 27 × $4)$87 ($29 + 20 × $2.90)$79

The short version:

  • 1 or 2 workspaces: pay as you go. Starter yearly ($10 a month) ties with pay as you go at 2.
  • 3 to 7: Starter, plus $4 for each workspace past 3.
  • 8 to 27: Pro, plus $2.90 for each past 10.
  • 28 or more: Business, plus $2.63 for each past 30.

What you are not charged for

  • Seats. Teammates and client viewers are free.
  • Records. No caps on contacts, companies, deals or pipelines.
  • Agent access. The MCP server and the REST API come with every workspace, pay as you go included. There is no AI add-on.
  • Agent actions. Your agent can log a hundred calls a day or import 100 prospects at once; LotsCRM doesn't bill per tool call.
  • Import and export. CSV in and out, any time.
  • AI usage. Your AI provider (Claude, ChatGPT and so on) bills its own usage. LotsCRM credits fund workspace capacity only.
  • Setup or onboarding fees. There aren't any.

What happens when credits run out

Nothing is deleted. Plan-covered workspaces stay fully available. A workspace nobody pays for becomes read-only: you and your agent can still read and export everything, and editing comes back as soon as you add credits or a plan covers it.

Check your plan and balance from your AI agent

You don't need the dashboard to see what you're paying. LotsCRM's MCP server has two billing tools:

  • get_billing shows how your workspaces are paid for: your plan (if any), how many workspaces it includes and how many you hold, whether today is covered by the plan or paid from credits, your credit balance, your plan's extra-workspace rate, the pay-as-you-go rate and the plans to choose from.
  • create_checkout returns a checkout link for a plan (Starter, Pro or Business, monthly or annual) or a credit top-up from $10 to $1,000. You open the link and pay in your browser; the agent never asks for card details.

When I asked my agent for my billing through the LotsCRM MCP today, get_billing came back with exactly those fields, plus the daily and monthly credits I'd pay for workspaces outside my plan (none, because my plan covers them).

Prompts to copy:

  • "How is my LotsCRM paid for, and what's my credit balance?"
  • "How many workspaces am I using against my plan?"
  • "I'm adding three clients next month. Which LotsCRM plan is cheapest for that?"
  • "Give me a checkout link for LotsCRM Pro, annual."

If your agent isn't connected yet, add https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp as a remote MCP server and sign in. The setup page has the steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, and my Claude CRM integration guide walks through it. Prefer REST? GET /api/v1/lotscrm/billing returns the same thing (API docs).
