For a small business that wants every lead, deal and follow-up in one place without paying per person, start with LotsCRM: $5 a workspace a month, with unlimited teammates, contacts and deals. If you want marketing and customer service tools in the same login, HubSpot is the most complete all-in-one, and it has a free CRM for up to 2 users.

"All-in-one" means two different things in this market. Some suites bundle a CRM with marketing and service tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Freshworks, HighLevel, SuiteDash). Others keep everything about your sales book in one place (LotsCRM, Bigin, Capsule). I opened every vendor's own pricing and help pages on 24 October 2026 and compared them on what a small business feels: what the CRM costs for 1, 5 and 10 people, what is included, and whether your AI agent can work in it. Prices are US dollars before tax, list prices with no promotions.

## The best CRMs for small business at a glance

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| **LotsCRM** | Workspace (one business) | $5 a workspace a month; $12 a month for 3 | No; 5,000 free credits, valid 90 days, no card | No marketing or service hub | MCP and REST on every plan |
| **HubSpot** | Seat | Starter $20 a seat a month | Yes, up to 2 users | Yes, as separate hubs (Marketing, Service) | Claude and ChatGPT connectors on all plans |
| **Zoho CRM** | Seat | Standard $14 a user a month (yearly), $20 monthly | Yes, 3 users | CRM Plus bundles sales, marketing and service from $20 a user a month | Zoho MCP lists Zoho CRM |

## What it costs for a team of 1, 5 and 10

This is the number most lists skip. Here is the monthly cost of the entry paid plan, billed month to month, for one business with 1, 5 and 10 people in the CRM. Seat-priced tools multiply by headcount; LotsCRM, HighLevel and SuiteDash don't.

| Tool and plan | 1 person | 5 people | 10 people |
|---|---|---|---|
| **LotsCRM** (pay as you go, one workspace) | $5 | $5 | $5 |
| **HubSpot** Starter | $20 | $100 | $200 |
| **Zoho CRM** Standard | $20 | $100 | $200 |
| **Freshsales** Growth | $11 | $55 | $110 |
| **Bigin** Express | $9 | $45 | $90 |
| **Capsule** Starter | $22 | $110 | $220 |
| **HighLevel** Starter | $97 | $97 | $97 |
| **SuiteDash** Start | $19 | $19 | $19 |

Three things to keep in mind. Free plans beat every number above for a very small team: HubSpot's free CRM covers 2 users, Zoho CRM's free plan covers 3, Bigin Free is one user, and Capsule Free is 2 users with up to 250 contacts. Yearly billing lowers the seat prices (the table above uses the monthly list prices so every row is comparable). And the plans are not the same size: HubSpot Starter or HighLevel include tools LotsCRM doesn't have, so this compares pricing models, not identical scope.

## 1. LotsCRM: the CRM that's easy to keep up to date, priced per business

LotsCRM is a CRM for founders, consultants and small agencies, kept current by you in the dashboard or by ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code. You pay per workspace, which is one business's sales book (or one client's). Contacts, companies, deals, pipelines and teammates inside it are unlimited, so adding your fifth or tenth person costs nothing.

- **Price.** Pay as you go is $5 per workspace a month, charged daily from credits. Starter is $12 a month for 3 workspaces, Pro $29 for 10 and Business $79 for 30; yearly billing costs ten monthly payments. Pro and Business also include LotsNotes Pro. The full breakdown is in [LotsCRM pricing explained](https://lotscrm.com/blog/lotscrm-pricing-explained) and on the [pricing page](https://lotscrm.com/pricing).
- **Free start.** There's no free plan. New accounts get 5,000 free credits, valid 90 days, no card.
- **Agent access.** The MCP server and REST API work on every plan. Add `https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp` as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, sign in, and your agent can add leads, move deals, log calls, set follow-ups and invite teammates. Setup steps are on the [MCP page](https://lotscrm.com/mcp). Each teammate's agent gets exactly that teammate's role.
- **What it doesn't do.** LotsCRM has no marketing hub and no service or ticketing hub. It doesn't send emails or sequences, and it doesn't sync your inbox or calendar: your agent drafts from the CRM history, you send with the tools you already use, and the agent logs it. If you want campaigns, a help desk or inbox sync inside the same product, pick one of the suites below.

Who it fits: a small business that mostly needs a clean pipeline and follow-ups for a team that keeps growing, or an agency with one workspace per client. ## 2. HubSpot: the most complete all-in-one suite

HubSpot calls itself a customer platform: marketing, sales, service and content tools on one CRM, and its own pages say so. The Smart CRM is free for up to 2 users with no card. Paid Starter is $20 a seat a month. Sales Hub Professional is listed at $100 a Sales Seat a month in HubSpot's product catalog with a required $1,500 one-time onboarding, and Marketing Hub Professional starts at $800 a month with $3,000 onboarding. Marketing and Service are separate hubs, each priced separately.

Agent access is broad: HubSpot's Claude and ChatGPT connectors are available on all plans, including Free (Claude needs a paid Anthropic plan), and bulk writes through the connectors go 10 records at a time. If you want one vendor for marketing, sales and service and you have the budget as you grow, HubSpot is the strongest suite here. The honest trade-off is cost: it is priced per seat, and the paid tiers climb quickly (see the table above).

## 3. Zoho CRM: a broad suite with a free plan for 3 users

Zoho CRM is free forever for 3 users. Paid plans are per user a month: Standard $14 yearly or $20 monthly, Professional $23 or $35, Enterprise $40 or $50 and Ultimate $52 or $65. A 15-day trial needs no card. Zoho CRM Plus bundles sales, marketing and service in one package from $20 a user a month. Zoho MCP is a separate Zoho product that lists Zoho CRM. A good fit if you are likely to add other Zoho products, or want a free plan for 3 users.

## 4. Freshsales: sales CRM from Freshworks, with a suite option

Freshsales Growth is $9 a user a month billed yearly ($11 monthly), Pro $39 ($47) and Enterprise $59 ($71). The Freshsales Suite page lists the same prices with 500 marketing contacts included; more marketing contacts are an add-on from $100 for 5,000 a month. The trial is 21 days. I didn't find a free plan on its pricing page, and the Freshworks Marketplace lists an MCP Server app for Freshsales Suite. It fits small teams that want sales and marketing from one vendor at a low entry price.

## 5. HighLevel: an agency all-in-one with one flat price

HighLevel describes itself as an all-in-one platform designed to replace multiple subscriptions. Starter is $97 a month ($970 a year) with 3 sub-accounts, Unlimited $297 and Agency Pro $497. On every plan it lists unlimited contacts and users. It includes a CRM, funnels and a website builder, email and SMS marketing, calling, booking, workflows and payments, with usage-based charges for phone, SMS and email. It has a 14-day trial and an MCP server set up with a private integration token. If you are an agency that wants client-facing funnels and messaging tools in the same account, it is the biggest bundle in this list at a flat price.

## 6. SuiteDash: client portal and CRM at a flat price

SuiteDash is priced per account, "NOT per user", with unlimited staff and clients on every plan. Start is $19 a month or $180 a year and includes unlimited CRM contacts, client portals and email marketing campaigns. Thrive is $49 ($480 a year) and adds drip marketing, proposals and deal-stage pipelines; Pinnacle is $99 ($960 a year). The trial is 14 days with no card. For service businesses that want a branded client portal alongside the CRM it is the closest flat-price match to LotsCRM's pricing idea; its pricing page doesn't mention an MCP server.

## 7. Bigin by Zoho: a lightweight pipeline with a free single-user plan

Bigin is Zoho's lighter CRM: Free for 1 user with 500 records, Express $7 a user a month yearly ($9 monthly), Premier $12 ($15) and Bigin 360 $18 ($21). Mass emails start on Express and the trial is 15 days. Its feature list includes MCP support from Free. A good choice if you are a one-person business that wants a pipeline at $0 now and Zoho's ecosystem later.

## 8. Capsule: simple contacts, pipelines and tasks

Capsule has a free plan for 2 users and 250 contacts. Starter is $18 a user a month yearly ($22 monthly), Growth $36 ($40), Advanced $54 ($60) and Ultimate $72 ($75), with a 14-day trial and a marketing add-on from $11 a month. Its MCP is in beta by early access. It fits a small team that wants a long-established, straightforward CRM.

I left out Pipedrive here because its pricing page blocked my checks on 24 October. [LotsCRM vs Pipedrive](https://lotscrm.com/blog/lotscrm-vs-pipedrive) and [Pipedrive alternatives](https://lotscrm.com/blog/pipedrive-alternatives) cover it separately.

## How to choose

- **You want marketing and service tools in the same login:** HubSpot, Zoho CRM Plus, Freshsales Suite or HighLevel.
- **You're an agency or service business that wants a client portal:** SuiteDash or HighLevel.
- **You want the cheapest start:** HubSpot Free, Zoho CRM Free, Bigin Free or Capsule Free cost $0 for a very small team.
- **Your team will grow, or you run one business per client:** LotsCRM, because the price doesn't change with headcount. See the [setup page](https://lotscrm.com/mcp) and [how LotsCRM compares](https://lotscrm.com/compare).

## FAQ

### What is the best CRM for a small business?

It depends on what you want in one login. For a pipeline, follow-ups and unlimited teammates at a flat $5 a workspace a month, LotsCRM. ### What is an all-in-one CRM?

An all-in-one CRM bundles sales tools with other business functions such as marketing, customer service, client portals or invoicing, so you use one login instead of several apps. HubSpot, Zoho CRM Plus, Freshsales Suite, HighLevel and SuiteDash describe themselves this way. LotsCRM keeps your sales book in one place and doesn't include marketing or service hubs.

For 5 people on month-to-month list prices, seat-priced CRMs range from about $45 to $110 a month at entry plans (Bigin Express $45, Freshsales Growth $55, HubSpot Starter and Zoho CRM Standard $100, Capsule Starter $110). LotsCRM is $5 a workspace a month for any team size, and HighLevel and SuiteDash are flat at $97 and $19. Checked 24 October 2026.
