If you sell for a small business and want a CRM that's easy to keep up to date without paying per seat, LotsCRM is the Attio alternative to try first: $5 a workspace a month, with unlimited teammates, contacts and deals, and ChatGPT or Claude can log the work for you. If you want something else from the CRM itself, folk is built around relationships and enrichment, Pipedrive around the pipeline, and HubSpot offers a free start inside a larger suite.

Every fact about Attio, folk, Pipedrive and HubSpot below comes from the vendor's own pages, checked on 29 October 2026 (USD, list prices), with links at the end. In LotsCRM a "workspace" is one business's sales book.

## Why small teams look beyond Attio

Attio is a capable CRM, and its strengths are real. It has a Data Model feature for structuring your records, it connects your inbox and calendar, enriches records, and has Ask Attio for AI inside the CRM. Its MCP server is available on all plans and signs you in with OAuth. Free covers up to 3 seats, and there is a 14-day trial of Pro.

The reasons small teams compare it with other CRMs are on Attio's own pages:

- **You pay per seat.** Plus is $35 a seat a month billed yearly ($44 monthly) and Pro is $79 ($99 monthly). Five people on Plus is $175 a month.
- **A pending invite holds a seat.** Attio's billing help says a seat is held by one active member or one pending invite.
- **Each workspace is billed separately.** If you belong to several, your seat is counted and charged in each.
- **Plans carry limits.** Plus is capped at 10 seats, and seat and workspace credits differ by plan.

None of that is hidden. It adds up when the job is "know who we talked to and what happens next." For the head-to-head, read [LotsCRM vs Attio](https://lotscrm.com/blog/lotscrm-vs-attio).

## 1. LotsCRM: one price per business

LotsCRM is the CRM that's easy to keep up to date. You tell ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code who you talked to, and it logs the call, moves the deal and sets the next follow-up. Or you do the same in the dashboard, which has the pipeline, a Today view, contact detail and import and export.

### Where it fits

- **You pay for businesses, not people.** A workspace is $5 a month on pay as you go, or $12 a month for 3, $29 for 10 and $79 for 30 on the plans. Contacts, companies, deals, pipelines and teammates are unlimited on every plan (the pricing page notes unlimited is subject to fair use). Pro and Business also include LotsNotes Pro.
- **A team of five costs the same as one person.** Attio Plus for five is $175 a month; one LotsCRM workspace is $5.
- **Agents are first-class.** MCP and REST cover the same CRM as the dashboard, and you sign in with your Lots account, no key needed. Your agent can also invite teammates with `invite_member`.
- **Nothing is sent without you.** LotsCRM sends no emails or messages to contacts and no reminders, and it never updates itself. Follow-ups wait in the Today view, so you open it to see what is due. Your agent can draft a follow-up with `prepare_follow_up`, you send it with your own tools, and the agent logs it.
- **A free start.** New accounts get free credits when they sign up, no card, enough to run one workspace for about a month.

### What it doesn't do

LotsCRM does not sync your inbox or calendar, enrich records, send sequences or run AI inside the CRM. You bring the agent you already use. If those matter more to you than the price model, look at the next three.

## 2. folk: relationships, enrichment and outreach

folk describes itself as an AI CRM for your whole sales motion, with sections to prospect, enrich and engage. Enrichment finds emails and phone numbers, "Messages & sequences" handles outreach, and it records phone calls on your own number.

- **Pricing.** Standard is $24 a member a month billed yearly ($30 monthly), Premium $48 ($60), and Enterprise from $80 ($100). The member count is unlimited, and each member is billed at the plan's rate.
- **Agent access.** Its pricing page lists MCP on all three plans, connecting over OAuth to Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, among others. Deals and API access start on Premium.
- **Trial.** folk's FAQ describes a 2-week trial with no card.
- **Where it fits.** Contact-centric selling where finding and reaching people is the job. Compare it in [LotsCRM vs folk](https://lotscrm.com/blog/lotscrm-vs-folk).

## 3. Pipedrive: a pipeline CRM with email built in

Pipedrive is a pipeline-first CRM with 500+ integrations and Pipedrive Nova for meeting intelligence.

- **Pricing.** Lite $14, Growth $39, Premium $59 and Ultimate $79 a seat a month billed annually, VAT excluded. Add-ons such as LeadBooster (from $32.50) cost extra.
- **What each tier adds.** Full email sync with tracking, automations, sequences and forecast reports start on Growth. Lead routing, shared inboxes and e-signatures are on Premium.
- **Agent access.** The MCP server is on every plan and an official connector in Claude and ChatGPT, with usage subject to token limits based on your plan.
- **Trial.** 14 days, no card.
- **Where it fits.** You want the CRM to sync email and run sequences. See [LotsCRM vs Pipedrive](https://lotscrm.com/blog/lotscrm-vs-pipedrive) and [Pipedrive alternatives](https://lotscrm.com/blog/pipedrive-alternatives).

## 4. HubSpot: a free start inside a suite

HubSpot's pricing page lists a free plan for up to 2 users with no card, including the mobile app, one-to-one email and meeting links with HubSpot branding.

- **Pricing.** Paid Sales Hub plans are priced per seat, on top of the free tools. Check HubSpot's pricing page for the current figures before you budget, because several prices are shown depending on billing.
- **Agent access.** HubSpot's developer docs describe a remote MCP server at mcp.hubspot.com, and its connectors for Claude and ChatGPT are powered by it.
- **Where it fits.** Two people or fewer, or a team that will use marketing and service tools next to sales. See [LotsCRM vs HubSpot](https://lotscrm.com/blog/lotscrm-vs-hubspot).

## If you run sales for several clients

Agencies and consultants hit Attio's per-workspace billing fastest. In LotsCRM each client gets its own workspace under one plan, with separate contacts, pipelines, deals and members. Invite a client's staff as viewers and it costs nothing extra, because teammates are free. Your agent starts with `list_workspaces` and works only in the one you name.

## Which Attio alternative should you choose?

Choose LotsCRM if you are a founder or small team that sells, wants one price per business, and likes telling an agent what happened.

Choose folk if finding and enriching contacts, and outreach, is the core of your selling.

Choose Pipedrive if you want a pipeline CRM that syncs email and runs sequences, and per-seat pricing fits.

Choose HubSpot if you are two people or fewer, or you want marketing and service tools around sales.

Stay with Attio if you want your own data model, synced inbox and calendar, enrichment and AI inside one product.

## Move from Attio with your agent

LotsCRM works with the AI agent you already use. Connect Attio's MCP server and LotsCRM's, `https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp`, in the same agent, then ask:

> Read https://lotscrm.com/skill.md. In LotsCRM, create a workspace called "Acme" and a pipeline with the same stages as my Attio "Sales" list. Read the people in Attio and add them with bulk_upsert_prospects (source: attio). For each entry in the list, create a deal in the matching stage with create_deal. Show me the list and wait for my yes before you write anything.

That uses `create_workspace`, `create_pipeline`, `bulk_upsert_prospects` and `create_deal`, and the import is safe to retry. You can also import a CSV in the dashboard, which reads the usual column names. See [pricing](https://lotscrm.com/pricing), the [MCP setup page](https://lotscrm.com/mcp) or [compare LotsCRM with other CRMs](https://lotscrm.com/compare).
