Canonical page: https://lotscrm.com/agents/claude-code
Steps checked: 2026-10-05

Ask Claude Code to add leads, log your conversations, move deals and line up follow-ups in LotsCRM. Add LotsCRM to Claude Code as a remote MCP server and sign in once.

MCP server URL: https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp
REST API docs: https://api.lotscrm.com/docs
Setup instructions for your agent: https://lotscrm.com/skill.md

## What you can do once connected

- Add and update contacts and companies, and import up to 100 prospects at a time.
- Create deals on your pipelines and move them between stages, with a reason when one is lost.
- Log calls, meetings, emails, messages and notes after they happen.
- Set, reschedule and complete follow-ups, and see what is due or overdue.
- Search contacts, companies and deals, and read the CRM briefing, a pre-call deal brief or a pipeline summary.
- Draft a follow-up from your CRM history, then log it once you send it with the tools you already use.

The LotsCRM dashboard does the whole job too: contacts, companies, the pipeline, follow-ups in your Today view and team access. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- Claude Code with a Claude plan
- A LotsCRM account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect Claude Code to LotsCRM

1. **Add the server.** Run this in your terminal. It adds LotsCRM to the current project; nothing else to install.

```
claude mcp add --transport http lots-crm https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp
```

Every project:

```
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user lots-crm https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp
```

2. **Sign in from Claude Code.** Start Claude Code and run /mcp. Select lots-crm, choose Authenticate, then choose Allow on the LotsCRM page that opens in your browser.

```
/mcp
```

3. **Check the connection.** Back in Claude Code, ask a read-only question to confirm the tools work.

```
List my LotsCRM workspaces
```

## What to ask next

- “Add these 20 people from today’s event and tag them “Oct meetup”.”
- “Log my call with Priya and move her deal to Proposal.”
- “What follow-ups are due today?”
- “Brief me on the Acme deal before my call.”
- “Import the leads in leads.csv into my LotsCRM workspace and tell me which rows failed.”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect Claude Code to LotsCRM?

Follow the Claude Code setup above to add https://api.lotscrm.com/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my LotsCRM workspaces”.

### Can I add LotsCRM to every Claude Code project?

Yes. Use the second command in step 1 (the --scope user variant) to add LotsCRM for every project on your computer instead of the current one.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsCRM with Claude Code?

No. Claude Code signs in to LotsCRM in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.

### What does LotsCRM cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotscrm.com/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Does LotsCRM send emails or messages?

LotsCRM is the record of your sales work. Your agent drafts and sends messages with the tools you already use, then logs each one in LotsCRM, so every conversation sits on the right contact and deal. Follow-ups you schedule appear in your Today view.

### What can my agent do in my workspace?

Your agent acts as you, so it can do exactly what your workspace role allows. Owners can do everything and viewers can only read.

### Can my agent delete CRM records?

Your agent archives contacts, companies and deals. Archiving is recoverable and keeps the history, and there is no hard delete through MCP.

### Can one agent work across several clients?

Yes. Each workspace is a separate sales book, one per business or client. Your agent lists your workspaces, picks the one you mean and keeps its records apart from the others.

### lots-crm shows as needing authentication

Run /mcp, select lots-crm and choose Authenticate, or run claude mcp login lots-crm in your terminal.

### The browser says Claude Code registered itself and is not verified

That is normal for Claude Code: it registers with each MCP server and receives the sign-in on your own computer. Allow it when the return address is localhost.
